In September 1977 at the Annexe of Carlton le Willows school Bob introduced himself to a new class of around 30+ 1st year kids, myself being one of them. From the very first smile and the fun persona he projected out we had the joy of an amazing 5yrs being taught by this humorous, kind, inspiring man. He could make the kids who struggled with education feel like anything was within their grasp, made kids who had never picked a book up, become interested in the beauty of the written word. Special treasured memories of a lovely man with a heart as big as his smile, God bless you always.
